The Early Days

Central Tyre Service Pty Ltd started in 1950 with a casual conversation between neighbours Ian Crosby and Bill McKendrick.

In 1952, they offered Goodyear Tyre Rubber Co. £200 and started the business in a tin shed on Fryers Street.

Within a few years, they outgrew their shed and moved to our current site at 117 Welsford Street, Shepparton, Victoria.

Limited has been locally owned & operated, continuing on the traditions of our family-owned business with a key emphasis on excellent customer service and customers for life.
